Sonia Majid, MD, MPH is a neurosurgical spine fellow at the University of Miami, where she is completing CAST-accredited enfolded fellowship training in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery under Dr. Michael Wang. She completed her neurosurgery residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also completed an enfolded fellowship in peripheral nerve surgery. Dr. Majid earned her MD and MPH from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and the University of Miami, respectively. Her clinical and academic interests include minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, spinal oncology, motion preservation, deformity, and peripheral nerve surgery.
