Bowers Neurosurgical Frailty and Outcomes Data Science Lab
Ari Istanboulli, HBSc, is a second-year medical student at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten, conducting research with the Bowers Neurosurgical Frailty and Outcomes Data Science Lab. Drawn to neurosurgery for its blend of technical precision, technological advancement, and direct patient impact, he actively pursues research in neurosurgical oncology, spine surgery, and surgical outcomes.
Through this work, he has cultivated skills in data science, critical literature appraisal, and academic communication. At AANS, he is excited to share his team's findings in multiple presentations and eagerly anticipates feedback and collaboration with peers and mentors dedicated to advancing the field.
