Armando Armas-Salazar, MD, MSc, is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Paralysis Center, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is a Mexican physician-scientist with more than five years of experience in clinical and translational research in peripheral nerve injury and reconstructive neurosurgery. His work focuses on developing and evaluating novel therapeutic strategies to improve functional outcomes after nerve injury and reconstruction, using both translational animal models and human studies.
