Dr. Lindsay Knight, PhD, is a Medical Science Liaison with Insightec. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Louisville, specializing in neuroimaging analysis including structural and functional MRI. During her doctoral work, she collaborated clinically with Dr. Kathrin LaFaver to investigate brain network changes following an interdisciplinary motor retraining (MoRe) program for individuals with functional movement disorders.
Dr. Knight joined Insightec in 2020 as a Clinical Applications Specialist, supporting FDA‑approved MR-guided focused ultrasound treatments for essential tremor and tremor‑dominant Parkinson’s disease. She later served as Research Applications Manager, facilitating focused ultrasound clinical trial research across multiple sites and studies, before transitioning into her current role on the Medical Affairs team.
Before her scientific career, Dr. Knight was a professional ballet dancer and continues to enjoy taking class when she can. She recently returned to California to be closer to family and now resides in Sonoma County with her husband and cat, where they enjoys cooking and hosting dinner gatherings with family and friends.
