Maya Elie Khoury, MS, is a doctoral student in the joint Arizona State University–Barrow Neurological Institute Interdisciplinary PhD Neuroscience Program and a research associate at the Barrow Neuroimaging Innovation Center, where she is completing her dissertation work. Her research interests include advanced diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of peripheral nerves and quantitative imaging biomarkers. Her work is directed toward developing improved imaging methods for the assessment of nerve injury and surgical evaluation of peripheral nerve healing and recovery.
