Brooklyn Brekke is a medical student with a strong interest in academic neurosurgery and involvement in research spanning multiple areas of the field. Her work has focused on outcomes research in glioma patients, intraoperative aneurysm rupture, and patient perspectives on experiences with intrathecal drug delivery therapies. She is broadly interested in all aspects of neurosurgery and is particularly motivated by research that informs clinical decision-making and improves patient-centered care. She is actively involved in national neurosurgical organizations, including Women in Neurosurgery (WINS), with a continued commitment to academic leadership and mentorship.
