Amelia Stepniak is a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Anthropology from Emory University and completed a Master of Science in Neurobiology at Northwestern University. Her current research in the Kohanbash Lab focuses on immune interactions in pediatric brain tumors, with an emphasis on B cell receptor repertoire dynamics. She is interested in leveraging tumor immunobiology to better understand early tumorigenesis and identify clinically actionable insights in neuro-oncology. Her work has been supported by the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
