Anthony Chesebro, PhD, is an MS3 in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine, where he also earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering. His research spans computational neuroscience, scientific machine learning, and neuroimaging, with a current focus on spatial transcriptomic analysis of molecular pathway signatures underlying vulnerability to brain metastases. His broader work includes physics-informed modeling of brain function and complex systems approaches to neurological diseases. Outside of research, he is interested in the intersection of humanities and medicine, medical ethics, and health policy advocacy.
