Research Fellow
Miami Cancer Institute
Ruchit Jain, MBBS is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Neuro-Oncology at Miami Cancer Institute, Baptist Health South Florida. His work focuses on clinical outcomes in brain metastases, with a particular emphasis on stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), real-world data analysis, and evidence synthesis. Dr. Jain is involved in all stages of clinical research, including study conceptualization, IRB protocol development, data collection, and statistical analysis. He has extensive experience working with large oncology datasets and routinely applies advanced methodological approaches to evaluate survival outcomes, treatment patterns, and predictors of response. In parallel, he contributes to institutional research projects to study outcomes in patients undergoing SRS and other neuro-oncologic interventions.
Prior to his current role, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. During this time, he worked on multiple clinical research projects focused on defining the indications, efficacy, and adverse effects of stereotactic radiosurgery across a range of central nervous system pathologies. His responsibilities included comprehensive data collection and analysis, as well as drafting manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication. He also participated in collaborative research meetings, contributing to ongoing discussions on study design, interpretation of findings, and emerging trends in neurosurgery and neuro-oncology.
Dr. Jain has presented his research at multiple national conferences and is actively engaged in academic dissemination through abstracts, posters, and manuscript submissions. He is a dedicated neurosurgery aspirant with a clear focus on integrating clinical research with surgical practice. His long-term goal is to pursue a career in neurosurgery.
This marks his first time attending the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting, where he looks forward to engaging with leaders in the field, presenting his work, and further expanding his academic and professional network.
