Allison Medina, MD is a fourth year neurosurgery resident from Wake Forest Univeristy, originally from Houston, TX. She is interested in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery and will be pursuing endovascular and open vascular fellowships. Her research interests include intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, meningiomas and stroke. She is showcasing her work that has been done identifying Piezo1 mechanoreceptor dysfunction in cerebral aneurysms.
