Laura A. Francis is Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member of SI-BONE, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIBN), a global leader in sacropelvic surgery dedicated to advancing patient care through clinically validated, anatomy-specific solutions. She has served as CEO and Director since April 2021, after previously holding the roles of Chief Financial Officer (2015) and Chief Operating Officer (2019). In these leadership positions, she played a fundamental role in taking the company public in October 2018 and building the operational foundation that supports SI-BONE’s continued growth.
Under her leadership, SI-BONE has strengthened its commitment to high-quality clinical evidence, expanded surgeon education and training initiatives, and advanced technologies designed to address real-world surgical challenges and improve patient outcomes. She brings broad executive experience across public and private life science and MedTech companies, along with a disciplined, evidence-first approach to innovation and value creation.
Ms. Francis also serves as a Director of Shockwave Medical (Nasdaq: SWAV), where she is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. She holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, an M.B.A. from Stanford University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of California. She is a strong advocate for advancing women’s leadership in healthcare and MedTech, supporting initiatives that elevate diverse voices across surgery, industry, and executive leadership.
