Bhuvic Patel, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, where he specializes in the management of complex skull base tumors. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Washington University, followed by an AANS Van Wagenen Fellowship at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany, and advanced skull base fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His clinical practice emphasizes minimally invasive approaches, including expanded endonasal and transorbital techniques, to safely access challenging skull base pathology while minimizing patient morbidity. Dr. Patel leads the Skull Base Molecular Neuro-oncology Laboratory within the Brain Tumor Center, where his research integrates multi-omic profiling and human organoid models to define the molecular drivers of aggressive and invasive tumor behavior, with the goal of identifying new therapeutic strategies for treatment-resistant disease.
