Dr. Tuohy is a 4th year neurosurgery resident at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He attended medical
school at the Penn State College of Medicine and graduated in 2022. Prior to medical school, he received his undergraduate degree in athletic training at East Stroudsburg University, followed by a master’s degree in molecular biology at Montclair State University. Dr.
Tuohy is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Congress of
Neurological Surgeons (CNS). As part of the CNS Resident Committee, he co-chairs the medical student subcommittee and mentorship program. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Tuohy enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons (James and Finley), as well as traveling and exercise.
