Dr. Rishab Ramapriyan, MD is a neurosurgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania and a researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery and Center for Cellular Immunotherapies. He earned his MD magna cum laude from Harvard Medical School, where he trained under Dr. Bryan Choi and completed thesis work on the development of novel CAR T-cell therapies for brain tumors, including a mesothelin-targeted CAR T-cell therapy for meningioma. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University, graduating magna cum laude with distinction in research, and previously conducted immuno-oncology research at MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Oxford. His current research interests focus on cellular immunotherapy for brain tumors, mechanisms of therapy resistance, and combination therapy.
