I am Kinan Kasabali, a third-year medical student at LSU Health Shreveport (Class of 2027) with a developing research focus at the intersection of computational neuroscience, movement disorders, and neuromodulation. My long-term goal is to help bridge the gap between laboratory neuroscience and surgical application by using data-driven methods to improve the precision and safety of deep brain stimulation. I am motivated by a deep commitment to ensure that patients undergoing neurosurgical intervention experience not only restored function but a genuine improvement in quality of life.
