I am an Associate Professor and the Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden, Germany. I also serve as the Director of the Neuro-Oncology Center within the National Center for Tumor Diseases. My clinical expertise lies in the surgical treatment of brain, skull base and spine tumors, including gliomas, acoustic neuromas, metastases, ependymomas, pituitary adenoma, and
meningiomas.
Beyond surgery, I am deeply invested in enhancing the overall treatment and care of patients with brain and spine tumors. Driven by a dedication to excellence in patient care, clinical management, and groundbreaking research in neuro-oncology, I strive to advance both the science and practice of neurosurgery.
