Gabrielle Dituri, BS, is a medical student at Tulane University School of Medicine and a 2025 recipient of the Byron Cone Pevehouse Young Neurosurgeon Resident Award from the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
She graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 2023, earning a BS in Physics and a minor in Biology. During undergrad, she conducted research in particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider as part of the CMS Collaboration and in quantum optics at Fermilab.
At Tulane, she is a DeBakey Scholar investigating surgical outcomes and health equity in neurosurgery. Her research includes outcomes of minimally invasive approaches to intracranial tumor resection, national database analyses of pediatric neurosurgical outcomes, and investigation of socioeconomic determinants of neurosurgical outcomes. She has presented her work at multiple national conferences including AANS and CNS.
