Hsien-Chung (David) Chen, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Taiwan and a Neuro-Oncology Research Fellow at Brown University Rhode Island Hospital. He completed his neurosurgical residency and board certification in Taiwan before pursuing advanced fellowship training in the United States.
Dr. Chen’s academic and clinical interests focus on neuro-oncology, particularly glioblastoma, surgical management of deep-seated and eloquent-area tumors, laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT), and translational therapeutic strategies. His work includes clinical research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses aimed at optimizing surgical decision-making and advancing evidence-based care for patients with malignant brain tumors.
Dr. Chen has been invited as a speaker at the AANS 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting, with multiple e-poster presentations accepted. He remains committed to academic neurosurgery, international collaboration, and the integration of translational research into clinical practice.
