Hello, my name is Aaryan Patel and I am a second year medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. I am passionate about neurosurgery and contributing and participating in the innovations of the field. My research interests include AI modelling, 3D imaging, epidemiology, education, spine/endovascular/minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques. I have a background in data science, statistical modelling of genetic/protein variation, game/virtual reality development, and spent the past summer at Massachussets General Hospital helping develop deep learning models for clinical use.
