Mr. Hyoungjin Park is a second-year medical student at the University of Southern California with research interests spanning systems neuroscience and neurosurgery. He has presented work on deep brain stimulation in schizophrenia models and is currently researching circuit level mechanisms of sensorimotor integration using functional ultrasound imaging (fUSI) and fMRI. With a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, he aims to pursue a career in academic neurosurgery, bridging basic science and clinical practice to develop novel therapeutic strategies.
