Kurt Shaffer is a fourth-year neurosurgery resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his medical education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has returned to his home state of Texas to complete residency training. His clinical and academic interests focus on cerebrovascular neurosurgery, with a particular interest in the optimization of cerebral bypass surgery.
