Alyssa Persano, BS, is a third-year MD/MPH student at Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tufts University in 2024, where she conducted research on DNA damage tolerance mechanisms and minored in political theory. She is interested in neurosurgical oncology and currently conducts research on the predictors of glioblastoma management and treatment disparities. As a dual-degree student, Alyssa is passionate about using statistical models to identify population-level trends and improve upon patient care in neuro-oncology
