Xin Nie, female, I am a doctoral candidate in Neurosurgery (professional degree) at Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, under the supervision of Professor Wang Shuo. My research primarily focuses on clinical and basic research in cerebrovascular diseases. I have participated in the implementation of several national and provincial-level projects, including the 2030 Science and Technology Innovation Program, the "14th Five-Year Plan" Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Initiative for Cardio-cerebral Comorbidities, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Taihu Top Expert Team Program. As the first author or co-first author, I have published four academic papers on cerebrovascular diseases in journals including JAMA Neurology (5-year average IF: 22.4), Translational Stroke Research, and Chinese Neurosurgical Journal, and have co-authored nine additional papers. I have presented at numerous conferences, including the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Neurosurgical Society and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting. I was awarded the "Baheal Pharmaceutical" Doctoral Scholarship and the "Academic Excellence Special" Scholarship in 2025.
