Elad is a current PGY-2 neurosurgery resident at Westchester Medical Center. He grew up in New Jersey and completed his undergraduate degree in Neural Science with a minor in Chemistry from New York University (NYU). He then attended Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a master's degree in Biotechnology, graduating summa cum laude. Elad returned to New Jersey for medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was selected for Alpha Omega Alpha honors. During medical school, he completed a research fellowship at NYU Langone under the mentorship of Dr. Douglas Kondziolka. Elad's interests within neurosurgery include neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery, and cerebrovascular surgery.
