Fernando S. Chiwo does research in Biomedical Optics, Electro-Optical Engineering, and Data Science. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and a Visiting Scientist at Rice University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida International University (2023-2025) and an Associate Researcher at CIATEQ SLP Unit (2022-2023). He is a level-C member of the National Researchers System (SNI-C) from SECIHTI, México.
