Charles “Chuck” Warwick V, APRN, is a neurosurgical advanced practice leader and healthcare innovator dedicated to advancing quality, safety, and systems-based practice in neuroscience care. He serves as Manager of Neuroscience Advanced Practice Providers at Jersey Shore University Medical Center within Hackensack Meridian Health, where he leads multidisciplinary APP teams across Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Cerebrovascular, and General Neurology services. In this role, he oversees clinical operations, workforce strategy, program development, and quality improvement initiatives across the neuroscience service line.
Chuck’s clinical and leadership work focuses on perioperative optimization, team-based care models, and measurable outcomes improvement in complex neurosurgical populations. He has led the implementation and evaluation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for cranial tumor resections, emphasizing reduced length of stay, standardized care pathways, and improved functional recovery. He is also actively involved in translational initiatives evaluating pharyngeal electrical stimulation for neurogenic dysphagia, contributing to multi-center data efforts and outcomes analysis aimed at improving neurologic rehabilitation.
In addition to his operational leadership, Chuck has a strong interest in healthcare systems innovation and data-driven decision-making. His work integrates analytics, dashboard development, and performance modeling to align frontline neurosurgical care with value-based and efficiency-focused strategies. He is particularly focused on optimizing advanced practice workforce design in high-acuity settings, ensuring APP teams are deployed strategically to improve access, throughput, and patient outcomes.
Chuck is currently completing a dual doctoral and graduate business education at Johns Hopkins University (Class of 2026), concentrating on strategy, health economics, leadership, and innovation management. His academic training complements his clinical leadership by strengthening his ability to translate evidence into operational execution and scalable systems improvement.
