Mohamad Bydon, M.D., is Professor and Chair of Neurological Surgery at the University of Chicago. He is the Stahl Professor of Neuroscience in the Wallman Society of Fellows. He graduated from Dartmouth College and Yale University School of Medicine. He did residency in neurosurgery and fellowship in complex spinal surgery and spinal oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is an expert in minimally invasive and robotic spinal surgery. A national leader in large data analytics and surgical outcomes, he is Chair of NeuroPoint Alliance, which houses national neurosurgical data registries encompassing over 500,000 spinal and cranial surgeries.
